Now introducing the SJ Player of the Month...this was an idea I had (on the previous page) to list the highlights of some SJ player's career. This month, we will highlight the career of the original dominator and record setter...Pharoah JZA.

JZA remains the only SJ contestant to win a debut game. He won the first three SJs in history and the first four he appeared as a contestant in. JZA is also credited with scoring the first point, first clue correct, first category run, and first correct true Daily Double in SJ history.

JZA is one of only four contestants to :

Average at least 25000 points per game in a SJ decade

Have at least a 90% clues correct percentage in a SJ decade

JZA is one of only three contestants to :

Get at least 40 clues correct in a game

Have a clue correct streak of at least 20

Get at least 25 clues correct in a round

Run at least 5 categories in a game

Run at least 4 categories in a round

Win 4 championships in a SJ decade

JZA is one of only two contestants to :

Get at least 150 clues correct in a SJ decade

Average at least 30 clues correct per game in a SJ decade

Have at least 4 clue correct streaks of at least 10 in a SJ decade

Have at least 3 games averaging at least 15 clues correct per round in a SJ decade

Run at least 10 categories in a SJ decade

JZA racked up a lot of clues correct that took a lot of other contestants many games to catch up. JZA was not passed for 1st place on the career clues correct list until after SJ 011. He was not passed for 2nd place on the career clues correct list until after SJ 21 and he was not passed for 3rd place on the career clues correct list until after SJ 30. He currently is 4th on the career clues correct list with 253. The next closest is Austin, who is still 85 clues correct behind.

Congrats JZA on a dominating career! I also believe you hold the record for most KOs of a thread. :D

Let's get that next game up already. ;):D

Don't be so anxious...since SJ 043 has concluded...

the person with the first clue correct only went on to win the championship 19 out of 43 times (01, 02, 03, 07, 08, 09, 10, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 29, 33, 35, 36, 37).

The streak of a champion having no categories run is also now at 5 games.

BTW...here is the box score from the most recent game...

Getting off to a clue correct start in the 2nd round doesn't seem to help much either. Here is the list of people who had the first clue correct in the 2nd round...

SJ 001 - Pharoah JZA

SJ 002 - Darth Wicket

SJ 003 - Pharoah JZA

SJ 004 - insomniac

SJ 005 - Darth Wicket

SJ 006 - Primbud

SJ 007 - Darth Wicket

SJ 008 - Darth Wicket

SJ 009 - Darth Wicket

SJ 010 - Pharoah JZA

SJ 011 - Darth Wicket

SJ 012 - Darth Wicket

SJ 013 - Darth Wicket

SJ 014 - Nomaa Jedi Piarra

SJ 015 - Darth Wicket

SJ 016 - Darth Wicket

SJ 017 - Darth Irish

SJ 018 - Pharoah JZA

SJ 019 - Darth Irish

SJ 020 - Nomaa Jedi Piarra

SJ 021 - Darth Irish

SJ 022 - Nomaa Jedi Piarra

SJ 023 - Darth Wicket

SJ 024 - Lucas1138

SJ 025 - bonnie13

SJ 026 - Darth Irish

SJ 027 - Darth Wicket

SJ 032 - Lucas1138

SJ 033 - Lucas1138

SJ 034 - bonnie13

SJ 035 - bonnie13

SJ 036 - bonnie13

SJ 037 - Darth Wicket

SJ 038 - bonnie13

SJ 039 - Pharoah JZA

SJ 040 - Otanku

SJ 041 - Lucas1138

SJ 042 - Austin

SJ 043 - Lucas1138

Darth Wicket : 14 (07, 09, 11, 12, 13, 16, 23, 27, 28, 37)

bonnie13 : 6

Pharoah JZA : 5 (01, 03, 10)

Lucas1138 : 5 (32)

Nomaa Jedi Piarra : 4 (14, 22, 31)

Darth Irish : 4 (17, 19, 21, 26)

Austin : 2

insomniac : 1

Primbud : 1

Otanku : 1

Only 21 out of 43 were championship games. So, then I decided to look at how many times a contestant got the first clue correct in each round. Those contestants and the number of times they did it were :

Darth Wicket : 6 (07, 09, 15, 16, 27, 37)

Pharoah JZA : 3 (01, 03, 10)

bonnie13 : 3 (30, 34, 38)

Darth Irish : 2 (21, 26)

Lucas1138 : 2 (41, 43)

insomniac : 1 (04)

10 out of 17 of those times were championship games. So, you got to hang around for the whole game. :p J/K....this really has no effect on winning a championship, but I was just curious.

EDIT : Here is the total amount of first clue corrects for all rounds of SJ...

Most First Clue Corrects:

Darth Wicket : 26

Pharoah JZA : 13

bonnie13 : 11

Darth Irish : 11

Lucas1138 : 9

Nomaa Jedi Piarra : 8

Primbud : 3

Austin : 2

insomniac : 2

Darth Lohr : 1

Rock : 1

Otanku : 1

No...the clue correct streak stat would mean you got 16 clues correct in a row without anyone getting one in between or you missing one.

For example...

You get 8 clues correct in a row.

NJP gets the next clue correct.

You get the next 8 clues correct.

You would have 16 clues correct, but just two streaks of 8.
