Darth Wicket
Did you know? The most recent SJ (SJ XXXIII) marks only the 3rd time in SJ history that no one contestant has answered at least 20 clues correct in the whole game. The other times being SJ XXV and SJ XXVI. Darth Wicket
Here's another Did you know? Darth Irish and Nomaa Jedi Piarra share the record for longest Daily Double correct streak with 13. Darth Irish got his first 13 correct before missing one in SJ XXI. Nomaa Jedi Piarra's streak is current (dating back to SJ XIV), so he could break the record if he answers his next Daily Double correctly.
Primbud
Just-concluded Game 33 was the first SJ since Games 4 & 5 () where we had consecutive games with champions winning their first title ever. Game 32 winner Lucas1138 and Game 33 winner bonnie13. Game 4 winner was Pat Bowen and Game 5 was won by modman Darth Irish.

Darth Wicket
What's in store for the next SJ? Will one of Austin, bonnie13, Lucas1138, or Pat Bowen become the next contestant to win multiple SJ championships? Will veterans Nomaa Jedi Piarra or Darth Irish recapture the title? Will someone new win it for the 3rd time in a row? Stat Watching : POINTSDarth Irish unfortunately dropped below the 600,000 career point threshold as a result of last game's FJ. He has a chance to regain that milestone if he chooses to play. Darth Irish still has more career Final Jeopardy points (229,900) and career Daily Double points (186,999) than all contestants combined in the history of SJ.Nomaa Jedi Piarra is only 27,448 points away from becoming only the 3rd contestant to reach 300,000 career points.CLUES CORRECTNomaa Jedi Piarra is also only 18 clues correct away from becoming only the 3rd contestant to reach 300 career clues correct. After SJ XXXIII, bonnie13 leaped over Primbud for sixth on the all time clues correct list. She is now only 10 clues correct away from becoming only the 6th contestant to reach 100 career clues correct.Nomaa Jedi Piarra can break a tie with Darth Irish for most consecutive Daily Doubles answered correctly at 13.SERVICEThe next game will mark Primbud's 30th SJ hosted. Primbud
I can bet Pat Bowen won't do it!! > How'd DI drop below 600 grand? Was he above? Will one of Austin, bonnie13, Lucas1138, or Pat Bowen become the next contestant to win multiple SJ championships? Darth Irish still has more career Final Jeopardy points (229,900) and career Daily Double points (186,999) than all contestants combined in the history of SJ COMBINED? Darth Wicket
How'd DI drop below 600 grand? Was he above? Yes...he was above during the game, but to begin the game he was around 593,000. He headed into FJ with a score of 10,000 putting him over 600 grand; however, risking it all and responding incorrectly dropped his total back to 593,000. Still only 7 grand away...it wouldn't be a big deal at all to pass 600 grand again.
Primbud
That reminds me of a player who got over 1000 yards on the season in a game, had the game ball taken out to receive (coach's decision), went back in for one play, lost five yards and fumbled, he never got the ball again - thus finishing with 995 yards and I don't think he ever reached 1000 at any future time either. Darth Wicket
Since the most recent SJ had the 3rd most guest appearances in SJ history, so I thought it would be fun to ask some trivia questions based on guest appearances in SJ.... 1) Which sports figure has had the most guest appearances in SJ history (not including Schwarzenegger if you count his bodybuilding days) ? Hint : He participated in an individual sport. 2) Which football player has had the most guest appearances in SJ history? Hint : He was recently imitated by a member of the Baltimore Orioles. 3) Which basketball player has had the most guest appearances in SJ history? 4) Which wrestler has had the most guest appearances in SJ history? 5) Which baseball player has had the most guest appearances in SJ history? Hint : He is infamous and retired. 6) Which two active baseball players have the most guest appearances in SJ history? Hint : They are currently teammates on an AL team. Primbud
Ooh, # 2's gotta be Ray Lewis. Is # 3 Ben Wallace? Is # 4 Hulk Hogan? # 5 = Pete Rose? I think I have half of # 6 but can't place the other half.
Darth Wicket
Yes, #2 is Ray Lewis and #4 is Hulk Hogan. #3 is not Ben Wallace and #5 is not Pete Rose. Nice tries though. There are two basketball players ahead of Ben Wallace. One appearing 7 times and one appearing 6 times.
