Clues Correct refer to a player answering a clue correctly before anyone else. Final Jeopardy clues do not count. There have been occasions where clues have been thrown out by the host, nobody has answered a clue correctly, or two players have received credit for the same clue. This stat also counts Daily Doubles answered correctly.

1. Streaking player gets the clue correct before anyone else.

2. Streaking player gets a Daily Double and answers it correctly.

Thanks. I try to keep the records up to date after every SJ, so it doesn't take me that long; however, if I decide to keep track of a new stat, such as clues correct, it might take me 1/2 a day now since SJ now has a lengthy history. But it helps me learn interesting things about the history of SJ. For example, this most recent SJ, SJ XXV, could be considered one of the most competitive SJs ever. No single player got more than 25% of the total amount of clues correct (the 1st time in SJ history that has happened). Here is a breakdown of each player's percentages for SJ XXV:

Ah, I didn't know you kept records up to date. Still massively impressive though. I see a SJ win in the near future....hopefully

I also learned how dominant Pharoah JZA was early in SJ history. He won the first 4 games he appeared in (SJs I-III and SJ X). A feat which has not been matched and probably will never be matched. In fact, no other player in SJ history has won their debut game.

 

 

It was not until SJ IX that I passed Pharoah JZA on the Career Clue Correct list and it took until SJ XXI before Darth Irish passed JZA for 2nd on that list.
