  1. I'll just leave this here.

Dak's was out for 6 games last season. And he missed quite a bit of the season a couple of years ago, after that horrific ankle break. That being said, is Purdy the future for the 49'ers? I thought that he looked like a solid QB when he was playing. I think that the Eagles were fortunate (bounty much?) that Purdy was knocked out of the NFC Championship. They had their hands full with the 49'ers.
  3. I bought a pillow that lets everyone know that it is for the dog. And she agrees!
  4. I hope that your family has a safe recovery. My 1st experience with it had me out of commission for 2 weeks.
  5. Garault might disagree with that. He's got quite a track record in my Witcher III experience.

So, I've missed the HOF game and the Cowboys pre-season game against the Jags. I can't say that I care.
  7. I totally lost interest in this, after seeing what they had done to the characters of Uhura and Spock. What are they trying to accomplish, with this total re-writing of these iconic characters. It's a disservice to the acting of Leonard Nimoy and Nichelle Nichols. Spock is one of the most iconic characters in television history, and it's just being swept aside by this show.
  8. PeeWee Herman was a brilliant character. Paul Rubens was a one of a kind.
  9. It's like what Disney did with Star Wars. It pretty much shit on men and made them look like foolish idiots.
  10. No, that's not why I didn't play the game. I didn't play the game, because of every man being treated as being an idiot and pretty much all of them being killed except Tommy. The whole story was just stupid to me. Joel and Tommy just saved this girl/woman/? from a swarm and then that event happens. Why would I feel any sympathy for a psychopath character, that would have been dead without the help of her enemy?
  11. I've had to work in warehouse environments at least twice per week, for the last 3 weeks. Today, I had a co-worker up on a lift running a couple of ethernet cables in the ware house. It was damned hot out there today. I think it was around 104 and the heat was staring to creep into the warehouse. I decided to help the young guy out and did some of the legwork on the lift for a couple of 30 minute sessions. I ran through 2 bottles of Gatorade and couldn't wait to get home to shower. The real kicker was that this place was making insulation. The dust everywhere was filled with fiberglass. It's the worst!
  12. I grew up in Montana and I have a lot of family up there. I'd like to eventually sell the house in Texas and move to the Flathead county area up there. Unfortunately, the price of property in that area has skyrocketed.
  13. I’ve talked with software engineers that have left Canada, because the price of rent was too expensive and the same job they did in Canada, paid about a third of what he was getting paid in the US. Messed up pay system in Canada.
  14. Lucky you, that you never had to endure having your 1st ridable in Star Wars: Galaxies, being a Dewback. I think it was well over 6 months before I ever got a land bike and later a land speeder.
  15. I found this. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Chiss Thrawn is from a near-human race called Chiss.
  16. I’d always assumed that his appearance had something to do with the dark side of the force. Lucas gave the Empire a Nazi Germany look. Just look at the outfits of the people on their ships. They very much look like those of the SS. Thrawn is on the cover of the paperback. He looks very much like a dark force user.
  17. I must have missed, when it was mentioned that Thrawn was an alien. Which book was that revealed in? I'm pretty sure that I only read the 1st book.
  18. I believe his father was a billionaire. You'd think that a person with the smarts to invest and create businesses, would have looked at the track record of the craft, before spending $500,000 to risk his and his son's life on such an endeavor. I've seen videos of what the craft looked like, inside and out. The craft had no seats, minimal space and what appeared to be, very limited technology. I sure as hell wouldn't have gotten on that craft.
  19. James Cameron and Bob Ballard put in their opinions about the craft that they were in.
  20. Orcas have figured out how to kill Great White Sharks, just by putting them in a mating trance; they are a very smart group in animals. I wouldn't want to be a worker at Sea World. They're probably next on the list.
  21. It would be cool to have those Texas A&M and Texas rivalries again. It's been sorely missed.
  22. I woke up Sunday morning and my wife told me that the dryer wasn’t working. The heating element burned up and the belt was chirping, every once in awhile, so I decided to just buy another one. The element burned up, because the stupid vent clogs up at the roof vent. This was never a problem, until the contractor had our hail damage roof replaced back in 2016. We had the same dryer for 13 years, before they’d done their work. The vent hood they put on the roof was not what one should put over a dryer vent. I’ve had to climb on the roof, peal back the slotted vent and reach under it to pull out the balled up lint and dog hair. I should just replace their stupid hood and get one that is made for it. Stupid contractors screwed up more than that. They just sucked at just about everything they’d done, including their invoicing.
