It’s supposed to be a total Eclipse down here in Wylie (Dallas) Texas. I’m off from work during the day.

“1. How do so many gay males use the gay male speech dialect when they are from areas that the dialect is rare or even heavily prejudiced against?”
I never thought of it as being an accent. I see it as being flamboyant. I remember a girl commenting about how she thought a certain boy’s accent was. My 1st thought was “That’s no accent!” -

Three weeks have passed. It looks like they either posted bond, or the wife didn’t get arrested. The family pretty much rented a U-Haul and hauled their ars somewhere .They even left the pimp couch sitting on the lawn.

Speaking of Conan the Barbarian. I somewhat get the feeling that John William's Dual of the Fates was influence by The Riddle of Steel, composed by Basil Poledouris.

Somebody doesn't have a clue about the bird season in Texas. It's not the bird feeders that are bringing birds into the area. I have a white noise fan in my bedroom, to drown out their mating calls in the mornings. And don't get me started on all of the Grackles that hang around the Walmart parking lot.

He also created characters like Blue Slime for Dragon Quest.
Lou Gossett Jr. has passed away.

Who Wants to Live Forever? It's such a perfect song for Highlander. Queen really nailed it!

Frontier is my current broadband provider. I've been on Fios way back when it was Verizon. The internet service is awesome, but when it came to getting rid of movie channels and other stuff to cut the costs, they really just started giving us less for the same price. Cable companies are horrible. We have 4K Netflix, Roku and Hulu. I'll take that for $160 a month.
The Stars are being aired on ESPN+ tonight, and it turns out that the Mavs are being aired on TNT.

You have to pay for Bally's? That's part of our regular sports package. I did get NBA league pass on Black Friday when it was half off. Other than that Marlins, Rays, and Lightning are on Bally's here.
We cut the cord years ago. I got tired of paying nearly $300 a month for cable and internet. I kept the internet, subscribed to Hulu with Disney+ and ESPN+. We had HBO for a while, but I got tired of paying for movie service with commercials. So no, I'm not paying Bally's $20 a month for their service.

I barely get to watch any of our local pro teams, outside of The Cowboys, because Bally Sports Network (formerly Fox Sports) is the channel that broadcasts most of their games. I’m not paying Bally to watch sports.

Oh god I want menopause to happen so fast. No wax in the spam kingdom.
I suppose, if you like hot flashes. My wife will get up early and have the house at 66 degrees, because she's feeling hot.

I stopped watching the tournament many years ago. I value my free time more to be used for something else.

That doesn't sound like a good situation for her. Some people can't handle alcohol as well as others.

I can't believe that none of us has mentioned Flash Gordon. The Thunder Buddies are disappointed.

Some of my favorites:
1. Braveheart.
2. Pulp Fiction. Quenton knows how to pick good songs.
3. Conan the Barbarian (don't drive to this, especially in rush hour with a battle axe!)
4. I also like the Star Trek soundtracks, especially Star Trek 2 and 3
5. GOTG
6. Master and Commander on the far side of the world.
Conan The Barbarian is definitely on my list. It's an amazing orchestral soundtrack.
1. Top Gun. Cheap Trick, Kenny Logins, Berlin. There's some solid 80's pop music on their. Mighty Wings by Cheap Trick is awesome.
2. Heavy Metal. Black Sabbath, Devo, Cheap Trick, Stevie Nicks, Grand Funk Railroad and several others I can't think of at the moment.
3. Conan The Barbarian. This is my favorite movie from Arnold, but I'd be pressed to not like Predator and Terminator 2 just as much.
4. Vision Quest. Journey, John Waite, Red Rider and even Madonna. It's a good listen when I'm in the mood for some 80's pop rock.
5. Saturday Night Fever. I'm not really a disco fan, but this movie was imbedded in my early teen years. It's grown on me over the years.
Honorable mentions to Star Wars Trilogy, Superman, Fast Time at Ridgemont High and TRON.

Starfield’s PC is unvoiced…
You're right. I just played the game for 15 minutes today, after a 4 month layoff. I must of been thinking of Atomic Heart. I know there was one other game where I'd heard that voice. I find it kind of annoying.

I'll have to check it out. I absolutely loved playing Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4.
