Just watched the episode where they are Jared and Jensen in an alternate reality. Watching them try to act was pretty funny actually.

AWESOME! I'm trying to convince my husband to watch too. I think he'd really enjoy it, but he thinks I only watch shows for the pretty people. NOT that pretty boys don't play into my initial interest, but most of these series have been about more than pretty people. Except Vampire Diaries...that one is still 100% for the pretty boys.

I could never get past the fact that Sam and Dean sound like meat heads.

Dean is really funny actually. Keeps getting funnier. Plus he's mega-hot.

I watched all of Buffy before starting on Angel, but it wasn't hard to make the continuity connections.

If I was me, I'd do what DV said, start S1 of Angel with S4 of Buffy. After S1 of Angel, they don't really intersect again until S4.
