  1. The Big Show thing was an attempt by Vince to prove that Bryan wasn't actually over, it was the chant. An obvious and total failure, of course--plus anything that involves "lawyers" and "boards of directors" in wrestling storylines is almost always totally awful. That being said, not sure I'm with you on the "finish the story" part, but we'll see.

  2. Probably premade. I’m capable of building one if I knew the right parts to get—no clue how to pick motherboards or video cards these days, though, or how to choose a case they’d all fit in, etc. It’s probably cheaper to go that route though, isn’t it?

  3. So I'm archaic as hell and still enjoy and prefer the desktop experience to using a laptop or tablet. The PC I have was built by a friend about 6 years ago. It's still working pretty well for the most part, not really much to complain about, but it's feeling like time to upgrade. I mostly use it as an internet machine and to write (I've been saying for a year now I'm gonna start a new project soon, and I swear I am), but with my son playing more and more on the PS4, I've started getting some interest in playing games again.

But I don't need a full on gaming machine. I'm not gonna play THAT much. His number one game is Fortnite and it's fun watching him play, to the point he's gotten me to play a handful of rounds (even a relatively simple game like this, though, is way beyond the SNES, which is the last system I really gamed out on). There are a few other games I'm interested in too, but one of the driving forces of this is he really wants us to play as a team, which you can't do on one console.

I know there are more tech savvy people on here than me--my knowledge of up to date computer specs is about two decades out of date now. I definitely don't need anything top of the line, but something that'll be able to handle a handful of gaming from time to time. Any advice/tips? If it helps, my brother in law works for Dell and can likely get me a discount if I buy through them. No idea if Dells are even considered good anymore, though.

  4. Yeah, I never understood. Sure let me dress up. Let me be as uncomfortable as possible as I’m crammed into a flying tin can stuffed to the brim full of humanity. Let me make it worse on myself! Wouldn’t want other people’s feelings to get hurt by me being comfortable instead!

tami I know that’s not what YOURE saying but it’s the sentiment I dislike

  5. Dude that place is awesome

I wish sites like redfin and zillow and the like would have floor plans too. As fun as looking at pictures can be my brain has a hard time getting a full feel for the house without knowing how things are laid out.

not like I'm ever gonna be able to buy a house lol

  6. I really don’t. They’ve set up the elimination chamber match to be number one contender. Obviously anything can happen but I don’t see them pulling another Rock related swerve after how badly the first attempt went

Plus, if Seth is nursing an injury, to they really want him being the ring general against a winded-after-one-move Rock? Nah

Communicate what you want and what is e or red of you before any agreements are made.

This right here (I’m assuming you got autocorrected out of saying “what is expected of you”) would solve so many problems in life. Just fucking communicate with people. It’s amazing how many people don’t do that. I know people who have been together for decades who won’t just ask their spouse how they feel/what they want and instead act how they expect that spouse to respond, which almost always leads to a fight they’re shocked they’re having. Just fucking talking to each other!

As for the actual topic here, it depends on the event. I generally tune my brain out during the anthem and just wait for it to be over. For something like the Super Bowl I expect it to be over the top and dramatic. Something tells me Reba isn’t gonna go too crazy with it though. The over/under I’m seeing is 90.5 seconds and I’m taking the under .

  8. It sucks that the title has been held hostage for as long as it has and will likely be for another year now, when it should’ve ended a year ago. I don’t care about rock OR Roman’s feelings. It’s stupid.

  9. The thing that got me about Stallone's tribute... besides talking about how integral Carl Weathers was to both Rocky's success and Stallone's success, was at the very end. Just a subtle thing... most of the time, when people talk about someone important to them who's passed, they talk about how lucky they (the survivor) were that the deceased was part of their life. Stallone said he was lucky to be part of Carl's life. That's a real thought, a real emotion right there, and that got me.

  10. There’s a massive amount of people whose entire personality is based on hate. I was like that in my late teens/early 20s. I thought it made me edgy and interesting. Thank god I grew out of that (though admittedly it can still come out from time to time, but I try not to). A lot of people never do at all.
