My brother came over to his daughters house and did led lights in the eaves all the way around the house and they can remotely chose the color and stuff and they're hidden so you can't really see them unless you're close. 

I know that set! I thought about it for a tree I was doing in my complex because they're plastic but it was MEH. 

I took down Christmas last weekend and cleaned house GOOD. The cats miss the tree. Especially Pot as I took his tree away he sleeps under but I feel less cluttered already. It was starting to take over everything with gift boxes, ribbon and paper everywhere and now I'm thinking about cleaning out the fridge when I get home of left over pie and food I haven't touched in a week.

Some psychobabble I learned during counseling. 

I hear that's called rationalization but it makes sense to me, Krawlie!

I got started cleaning house and before I knew it Pittsburgh was beating Baltimore so I chose the loser because of the late post.

I am curious, how ugly are these ornaments, Tami? I have some my sister chose I hate but they go up because Tina picked them but I don't do the whole set.

Yeah, a friend of mine took it up to learn the escrow/financing side of the market last year when he got laid off thinking he could start his own business in Austin. It didn't work out so good for him but if you have a good attention to detail I'd recommend that. 

In other matters why do I work in a school district that has back to school on January 3 and not one where they're going back next week on January 9. I don't wanna work when it's windy, raining and 48 degrees. *cries* There's mass chaos in my classroom right now because the kids can't go outside and schedules have been out the window for the whole time off.

My hot flashes are jealous. 

When I was entering the Week 18 Pick'em I noticed that a LOT of teams have 14 dollar tickets. I think Tennessee can barely fill their stadium.

Jets. lol I tried posting all day long. Stupid home internet. 

What the hell is wrong with my team? UGH. Also I think Russell Wilson got benched and there were some other weirdness going on like is this a big skid for the Chiefs? Can they unslide that luck out of the playoffs?  Starting to think Baltimore is the secret sleeper as well as Pittsburgh.

I have a hickory walking stick I bought at a gas station that I love. The ability to securely know I can wack someone with it makes it like a bonus.

LOL I was just grateful to be included with some friend's festivities. They include me every year and I think of them like brothers from another mother (I had plans on marrying one of them way back in high school since I've known them since second grade but the one I loved ended up being gay and we are all remarkably happy with that.) I don't particularly like going to what's left of my relatives unless it's my parents anyways and had to sing at ALL 4 services for Christmas Eve service and help with communion so it was nice. 

So the biggest gesture/gift comes from my friend's young sons. They love Aunt J and this year they picked out a Jigglypuff squishmellow for me. I love it. It's already on my bed. And the youngest was so upset last year that a gift that was boxed and wrapped under the tree wasn't the toaster oven that was on the box and actually cried so this year they gave him a small Dash toaster and he made his first item in the oven for me! I a piece of toast! 

I did get my dutch oven!

Worst gift was a rock painting kit I got from a NOT gag secret santa. It was promptly regifted. LOL I actually listed what I wanted under 30$ on the exchange and it was stuff like gum, stickers, cat toys and yarn. I got a rock painting kit. WTH?

Oh god. I highlighted the wrong thing. It’s Buffalo. Let me fix that. I am sorry.

Soooo judge my booze gifts.

For my brother I bought a Texas whiskey called Lone Star 1835. It's got a dumb come and take it cannon from that flag but it should be pretty good. There's an in joke because, well, my brother is a raging liberal so this could be fun. I didn't realize the label came with it. I just liked the way the guy described it.

For a brother in law I got an Italian chianti from RisVeglio. They are foodie eaters and do pasta and fresh vegetables and really enjoy a glass with their meals. 

For my brother's mother in law I got a Pinot Noir from Bliss Family Vineyards 2019 Should be a really good California wine.

Then for my brother's wife I got a Sauvignon Blanc from Prize 2021 Good ole Napa.

And lastly apparently I stole a bottle of Bacardi black cherry for making new years drinks for MEEEEE. When I got home I checked the receipt because that's what I do and discovered the guy forgot to scan it or missed it. 

All of that for $70. 

They were pretty gone over for the holiday and sold out of the duckhorn, Tami.

Odine! I almost bought the stuff you suggested but they were a little out of my price range. I was aiming for 15$ or less for people in my family who are not quite related but since they're kinda hosting I should bring something.

And I am done for all except my step-mother. OMG

Even better since he's DEAD  HAR HAR
