Yeah, yeah. It's done. My PC's been down and so I haven't really been on NN much for the last week.
Honestly, there's no reason to sweat it. When I update the list isn't that important; that page is simply kept for the sake of organization and convenience. As long as you have it listed here, it's official.

I watched it. I found the pilot slow and boring, but I knew they wanted to build characters first. I just wish the characters were interesting.
I'm closer to this than I am to "I loved it". There wasn't a single character that really drew me in or stood out. I'll stick with it, of course, because I have great faith in Kirkman. Also, as I kept reminding myself, I went into TWD already knowing (and often being attached to) most of the characters. Here, it's a clean slate and a different pace with a different type of story. So, I'll be patient.
Of course, knowing the characters wasn't always a sure thing with TWD, anyways. Characters I loved in the books didn't always appeal to me as much on the show. Instead, the onscreen versions invoked feelings from me that ranged from apathy (Tyreese) to annoyance (Dale) to pure hatred (Andrea). So, a clean slate is not necessarily a bad thing. Then again, new characters on TWD are just as hit or miss. I just hope that this show has it's own Daryl at some point, because I'm not sure how invested I can get in a whole group of T-Dogs.

Totally forgot to post here. Obviously, I remember him (and think of him first) as a broadcaster. His voice was one that I always identified with sports, growing up hearing him on MNF, the Wide World of Sports, and the like.
What was interesting after he passed, though, was hearing all the talk about him as a player. Some of it I knew, but some of it I had no idea. Like, I knew he went to quite a few Pro Bowls (eight, to be precise), but I never realized that he was a Pro Bowler at three different positions - running back, receiver, and corner. Or that, despite the fact that his career ended over fifty years ago and most of it was spent as a running back, Gifford is still the Giants second all-time leading receiver. In fact, he is still the franchise's all-time leader in TDs scored - and one of only six men in NFL history to have at least 30 rushing TDs and 30 TD receptions.
Tack on six All-Pro selections, an MVP award, and a championship ring and that's one hell of a career.

Alright, well Dorsett was listed on the front page - along with the fact that you only had one pick left after Funchess. So, you do get Jones.
However, Matt Bryant is still a free agent, so can someone with LM please fix that on ESPN?

Yep! See here for details!

So, the Fall schedule is out and it seems CBS is putting this on in direct competition with FOX's own DC show, Gotham. Exactly how is this a good idea? Sure, the shows will have different feels and the target audiences may not precisely coincide, but there's obviously a huge overlap from the general comic book fan population. Why wouldn't you schedule it right after Gotham and try to get some of those viewers to switch over to CBS when it's done? Especially since this show's premiering a month after FOX's show, which will be in full swing. On Tuesdays last year, you could watch Flash on CW and then head over to ABC for SHIELD. That seemed to work well for both shows, as their respective studios are sticking with that schedule this year. Seems like a formula worth imitating, to me.

I really enjoy his performance as Constantine. Granted, I'm more familiar with the New 52 version of the character than the Hellblazer version, which seems to be a bit toned down. Plus, I think there's only so close you're likely to get to the "heartless bastard" nature of the character on network TV. They did touch on it a bit in one or two episodes, but the TV version is probably ruled a bit more by his conscience, to be sure. I guess in this case it helps not being a hardcore fan of the books.

Or "14 Celebrity Wardrobe Malfunctions". I mean, how can you not click on that? Sure, you almost certainly won't see anything, but just the possibility. C'mon, we're talkin' famous boobies!!!

Initially, I was going to wait for the budget theater. I've since ruled that out and will only be watching for free, should the opportunity arise. Even then, I will do so half-grudgingly.

Whoa! Is there a setlist for the show?
Sorry, I forgot to answer this! They had three revolving setlists for the tour, with a few more variations tacked on for specific nights. Today, I found this very cool video of the Denver show. Looks to be the same version Chalup and I saw in Phoenix. On YouTube, the guy has the setlist and start times for each song, which I'll include after the video. I watched part of it and it looks great, has a nice centered (and steady!) view, and even has pretty decent sound for a crowdshot video. He does mention that his battery died and he missed the beginning of 2112, but other than that, it's "almost like being there".

Of course, now I go from "I hope he'll appear on Arrow" to "I hope his Arrow appearance will lead to him appearing on the other DC shows" and then "I hope his cameo appearances will lead to him getting his own show, again." lol

YES!!!
I loved this show. I never talked about it here (simply because I never new this thread existed), but I did sing its praises in related threads. Perhaps the utter lack of posts in here after the show aired is a sign of why it couldn't stay on the air. I hope not, but be that as it may, I'm extremely thrilled about this. I know that Stephen Amell went to bat for this show before it was cancelled and had publicly offered to appear as Arrow on it and then later had talked about this very possibility of Constantine appearing on Arrow, so it's not a shock. However, it is awesome to hear that it's really going from possibility to reality. Can't wait!
EDIT: it seems we do know a bit more than just the tweet, there's also this.

Drum circles
in The Lyceum
Posted
As a musician that plays (and occasionally gets paid to play) hand drums, I have a somewhat complicated relationship with drum circles. Drum circles come in many types, simply because the people that attend them come in many different types. When I first started drumming, I went to quite a few of these things. Over the years, I've become much more selective/experienced/jaded/cynical.
There are some circles that have been pure joy to be a part of, because they were made up of fellow musicians who had the desire and ability to create something together. There have been others that I quickly left, because they were filled with drunken, attention-seeking A-holes who happened to have access to a drum (but, often, not to a sense of rhythm). Then there are the "healing power of music" types. They can be sort of a mixed bag, because I can relate to their genuine love of music, but the rest of it can be a bit much. Plus, y'know, hippies tend to smell bad.
My general rule of thumb is that a smaller group of like-minded musicians will probably be fun. A large open group, however, will likely attract plenty of people I wouldn't want to hang out with, would be overly monotonous, and would generally sound like mud. If I somehow do get talked into going to one of those now, it has to include both free alcohol and plenty of belly dancers.
