  1. I honestly do not understand how anyone likes Hilary Clinton. It is a great mystery to me behind the appeal she brings to any sort of leadership position.

Biden???? Why cant a half way decent Washington outsider who isnt bat shit crazy enter this race?

  2. I enjoyed the killing. I even watched the last season that was on Netflix. Good performances and for once a show that was halfway decent in how police work happens for real and that it takes time and not one episode. Some of the personal side stories got a bit much but when the show focused on the investigation it was good.

  3. Its no different then when the annoying commentators say every 30 seconds when a player makes a good play "he is probably the best at his position" then 30 seconds passes and another player of the same position makes a good play and they say the same thing.

By the time the game is over every player on the team is simply awesome.

An underrated player is someone who is not flashy and doesnt have out of this world stats per game but played a long time and was consistent at their skill and was a team player.

  4. The situation at FSU is a culimination of bad bonehead decisions by some players who put themselves in compromising situations and MUST be held accountable for their actions. I am a no nonsense person when it comes to bad behavior.

I think what some people especially the media is that the NCAA dictates how much time a coach can be with players. Its not like a head coach from every program in the nation can tuck his players in at 10pm each night.

Second and this is the #1 issue with players in top programs is how these elite athletes have been treated differently since they were in high school being protected by coaches, teachers and administrators. They have been taught as long as you can run fast and have great skills you can half ass grades and stay eligble and attempt to stay out of trouble they can can get away with anything.

Then they get recruited and are wined and dined by the schools with boosts their egos more.

Then they get a full ride scholarship with many hoping to have one or two solid seasons and get drafted into the pros.

It also needs to be mentioned that alot of these star players without the athletic ability would be nothing and sometimes it keeps many out of trouble. However they come from many times bad environments and hang out with the wrong element.

If you add all this up then you will have some ticking time bombs waiting to go off. Plus in FSU's recent sucess on the field the media is locked on the program and cannot wait to pounce on any incident.

  5.

    Trump would take no ****.

From whom about what? And why do you see this as a good thing-enough to vote for someone to

head this country who has no experience in any of it?

I'm liking Bernie Sanders more and more. Especially now that he's being called a Nazi.

I have no love for Trump but what makes him less qualified compared to others in the running or President Obama? What do you expect to see on a presidential candidates resume?

One of my favorite lessons I teach is where I give my students 6 candidates resumes and do not give them names, just education background and past jobs and the students have to rank them from most to least qualified.

The funny thing is that Trump is one of the 6 and for the past 3 years he ranks dead last based on resume.

  6. El you are right about many parents not discipling their kids and being friends more than parents. I see it all the time in my profession.

Here is what is interesting to me. When we have open house or a conference where I meet parents. My most behaved students and best academic students always have the parents who will tell me flat out. "If my child ever gets out of line you have my permission to whack em."

I always laugh it away because their kid is the last one who would need a good whack. Gee I wonder why??? Meanwhile I have other students who would greatly benifit from a good whack.

  7. At this point in my life if I go out to dinner I try to go at non peak busy times to avoid crowded restuarants which is when loud parties and not just kids being the problem. Adults and stupid teens can be even more annoying in a bunch. My problem with loud places is I have bad hearing and I cannot hear or conduct a good conversation without asking people to repeat themselves. My wife gets really annoyed. If I am in a loudc place and someone is talking to me I just nod and smile most of the time because I cant hear shit.

40 minutes is beyond rude and disrespectful to everyone in the place. Any kind of parent would have a plan A,B,C,D to control and keep their child under control in public places.

I know a guy who will even tell the hostess to please sit him/party away from noise and especially little kids and he tips them money and reminds them not to seat potential other loud parties around him after he has been seated.

  8. The thing that scares me most about Trump running isn't his political views. Rather, it is the campaigns demonstration that there is a significant percentage of the US voting population that agree with him.

This country runs on stupid. I would say the same thing about anyone wanting to vote for Hilary Clinton.

  9. Okay??? Most of the political ideology tests I have taken show me to be moderate leaning slightly right.

Honestly I think a study should be done where test subjects have to answer the same political ideology questions each day depending on mood changes. I know my political ideology can change depending on if I am happy, mad, sad,or just dont give a shit.
