I'm kinda team Choc on this but I  upgrade Rogue One to great and put Last Jedi into the new 'VeryVery Good, Not Great' category.

I do like these stories, but with Boba Fett?   It doesn't mix.  I guess we don't get any real info about him in the OT or PT, but from what we do see, these episodes don't seem 'in character'.

Also, this show feels less cinematic than Mando did.  It feels like a TV show from a network,  not a streamer, if that makes sense.  

Mando got better so hopefully this will, too.  Still optimistic.

We'll never know, they get fed to the rancor before they decide to speak up.  

We can't introduce Luke the Jedi any other way than what's in the film.  His slow strut in is so fucking cool, so I say leave the convoluted rescue as is.  

All these years, I always thought that Luke entered the Palace because Leia wasn't able to get Han out.

Luke may have been a little overconfident, but I think he just thought that either he could negotiate with Jabba.  Figuring this wouldn't work, he must have thought he was good enough of a Jedi to just get his friends out by force.....with the Force.

So that's what I always thought the plan was.  Still makes no sense.

It's all a series of crazy conveniences and luck.  We should talk about what would YOU have done?!

First, I wouldn't have sent the droids at all.  Forget offering them as a gift.  Pointless.  Lando being undercover is a good idea but in the film, it served no purpose.  If the wanted a layout of the place and knowledge of entrances and exits, where everything is, fine.  They could also have found someone on Tatoooine who has knowledge of the Palace and could have given them intel as well.

Am I the only one who see the cologne commercials on the TV with Kylo Ren chasing a horse or riding a horse and think 'man, Kylo Ren really likes horses.  I mean he REALLY likes horses'.  No?   Just me?

I use Tidal every day because it's free with my phone plan.  This list isn't that accurate but is also accurate.  

It was good, if only for some solid performances, and it's well shot.  Nothing memorable though.  Just a retelling of the first film, for the most part.  

Quite a few things to nitpick but if I saw the original film at the age of 44, I'd probably nitpick the shit out of that as well.

I always assumed the original concept was an extremely disfigured human.  I don't recall the exact concept art for the emperor though.

Yeah.  I mean, it looks good enough but it did nothing to dazzle me or interest me, other than the fact that's it's a Star Wars show and of course I'm going to watch. 

She could see that the Republic was now an authoritarian dictatorship.  Simple as that.  

Anakin was a dumbass in terms of any idea of freedom and democracy.  He either refused to see it or he believed controlling the people was his idea of it.  

Saw Halloween Kills Thursday night.  Enjoyed the kills even though the victims seemed extra stupid in this.  Of course stupid victims is a popular horror trope, so, while I'm also no horror enthusiast, they felt extra moronic.  And everything in and around the hospital felt boring, slow, and contrived.  Despite all that, I still had fun watching it.

I don't think it's a stretch. I think Yoda's comment is direct.  He knows and he makes the comment to OBI-WAN to try to protect him or to prepare him for the shock.

If that wasn't the intention, I don't think Lucas would have written the dialogue that way.
