  1. I'm not going to disagree with anyone's complaints except for the 'it isn't necessary' goofiness.  None of this is necessary.  Additionally, I have been craving Solo stories since I've been watching SW.  When I discovered the Han Solo trilogy books, which was probably around 1989 in a used book store, I lost my freaking mind.  Bring em on!

Going into a cave designed for tourism is one thing. Crawling your way into unmapped narrow tunnels is entirely different. Why on earth anyone would do the latter I'll never understand.

I'm the opposite.  Tourist caves are cool but kinda boring.  I'd much prefer an undiscovered cave.   But if it's so small you have to crawl, no thanks.  What I most worry about is rain or water getting in.

  3. Did Han Solo gain weight while frozen in carbonite?  What did he eat?   Carbonite?   Was he eating his way out to free himself?

'Dumbest question in the thread' winner right there!

  4. It's doable, they just need convinced they don't have to try to rip off the visual style of F&F.

I would have thought that the obvious hint for a hit movie would be to rip from the comic.  By that,I mean the tone.  But many of the storylines could be translated as well.   Add some realism but keep the action and some minor sci fi elements as they relate to cobra's secret weapon and some of the Joe vehicles and weaponry.   It's soooo doable.

On the one hand, my uncle worked there as a greeter for 10+ years after he retired, he loved it, and they treated him well.

On the other hand, I was approached and threatened by a sex offender at my local Walmart.

On the one hand, they were a lifesaver when I had to replace my whole wardrobe quickly and cheaply and to a ridiculously anal company's dress code standards.

On the other hand, they're actually more expensive on a lot of stuff.

On the one hand, my eye doctor leases space out of my Walmart.

On the other hand, Meijer is just better.

    Soooooooo many hands.....

  6. My self esteem goes up and down like one of them roller coaster rides.  Some days I feel invincible and other days I feel worthless.

Even people with high self esteem have moments, many of them, in which they question their worth or value.

I can't pretend to have a good answer or know what works, and it's probably different approaches for different types of people.  Maybe your brain is wired that way or there are past experiences that lead to the low self esteem.  Or both.

I try to use my low self esteem to my advantage.  I see a cute girl and think hey this girl won't be interested in me so I'll talk to her because I'm not worried about what she thinks.  I've already made up my mind she doesn't GAF.  So I don't either.  I know it sounds ridiculous and I'm basically tricking myself here because I must be confident enough to talk to her but I'm telling myself that she won't be interested.

For me, a lot of it is 'fake it till you make it'.
