*crosses fingers*
Good change. Good change.
My mom had a good point. She says I'm just anxious about leaving the dogs for the weekend. (My cousin is house-sitting.) I'm such a softie. And I had just asked Joe recenlty what we do in the event of a tornado since we our house doesn't have a basement. Something about living next to a lake. Maybe it was still stuck in my subconscious.
-
Yeah, it was the weirdest thing. I dreamed I was at my parents house and I looked out the window and there was a mini tornado right outside the window. And I was like, "Hmm, that's odd, I wonder if I should go to the basement?" So I decided that better safe than sorry. Then, a little later I came back to the living room and the windows were blown out. My reaction, "Hmm, good thing I went to the basement." Then I went outside to get a better look at things and there Sydney laid impaled by something and she's looked at me and whimpered and died. And Java was whining and limping around with a broken leg and then Joe woke me up. That dream sucked.

lol. It's Sydney (the lab), and she's hilarious. She's normally really laid back, but she does these goofy wind sprints across the yard every once in a while. She's such a good dog.
I dreamed she died yesterday morning.

I was going to say I missed this earlier, and then I realized you only posted it a half hour ago. lol.

Ha, great, Ericka! lmao, Bev actually lives in a city, I can tell... we don't drive like that here in the midwest
Oh gosh, you haven't ridden with Mandy, have you?
This was great Ericka! I could so picture Bev.

The last time I did any creative writing was, um, well more than ten years ago. And I tried to avoid it in school as much as possible.

Go, Team Go! Power Up! ...and stuff.
Be nice to me people. I so am not a writer.
-
Very nice, Dave.
-
So, I printed this off and had Joe read it last night. He was chuckling.
-
Yay, Icy!
-
Yep, that'd be typical. And he'd just laugh at her.
-
It's just so them. And you so have Falco down too.
-
We need, like, a sweet theme song. And morphing abilities.
Can I be the pink ranger? Because, you know, pink is so me.
-
-
Icy, that's awesome! Very well done.
p.s. What did Falco do this time?
-
-
Loved it Mara! And yeah, the poke/tickle fight - totally believable.
-
No this is SASS, get it right Deputy.
-
Thanks! I have to give credit to Icy, she came up with most of it.

And here is Team Discovery Channel's submissions to the contest.
A: A Smeared Reputation: The True Story of the Cheerleader Rampages by Katherine Kimball
B: Geek Hate by Simon Poindexter
C: The Care and Feeding of Your Post-Apocalyptic Zombie by Bruce Cambell
D: Dogs Bite: But Balloons and Slippers Are More Dangerous by Janis Bradley (Title is linked to the real book.)
We thought we'd add the back cover for this one.
E: Captain Skeleton and His Super Friends Journey to Mount Awesome or the UK title Bring Yer Wellies by Chester Skeezix
-
I lol'd at all of them. But yeah, especially D. That's a hard act to follow.

You know I've had an itch to play softball for a while. AND YOU ONLY MADE IT WORSE!!!!
Thanks a lot April.

Just a reminder to all of you weasels out there, my poem is not part of this competition. The next person who votes for my poem will become the subject of my next poem, entitled: "Quack, Quack, I'm a duck! I can't read directions worth a ****!"
Maybe the next test should be a reading comprehension test.
