  1. I do wish the symbol had the standard white in it, but it doesn't really bother me that much. For all we know, they might be adding a white glowing special effect to it. I'm sure the finished product will look much better on HD cinematic-quality film. Over all, I'm pleased with the costume.
  2. Here are some candid photos of the costume and Grant Gustin in action as The Flash. http://geekleagueofamerica.com/2014/03/11/heres-a-look-at-the-full-costume-for-cws-the-flash-tv-series/
  3. Here's our first look at the full Flash costume! http://www.eonline.com/news/519792/the-flash-full-costume-first-look-grant-gustin-is-the-fastest-man-alive-see-the-photo
  4. This show has my full attention now. I would truly be bummed if it got cancelled. Can't wait for Lady Sif!
  5. It might look brighter and more scarlet in the actual show. It could be the lighting or the filter they're using for this particular photo. Anyway, I approve... so far. I'm eager to see the rest of the costume, though. By the way, I loved the 90s series. I'm actually pretty excited that John Wesley Shipp has joined the cast. I'm crossing my fingers that he's playing Jay Garrick. That would be neat.

  7. Absolutely. If we get a Nova spinoff movie, I'm pretty certain it won't be anyone like John C. Reilly or Peter Serafinowicz starring as Richard Rider or Sam Alexander. Something tells me they were just desk jockeys.
  8. Torch, I can't tell if you're joking or not. It seems like you are, but there's enough sincerity in there that I'm afraid you're being totally serious. I'm with you on Ben, but I'm scratching my head on the rest.
  9. I absolutely cannot wait for this. It looks FUN! :-D
  10. The whole cast is pathetic and none of them embody the FF I know and love. Nothing against the actors. They're just miscast, is all. Granted, I never read the Ultimate line, as I'm a 616 Universe traditionalist, but I just think it's a wasted opportunity. You know how we all knew that Halle Berry's Catwoman sucked before we even got to see a trailer or any clips? I'm getting the same feeling with this movie. This cast is all wrong. Reed is supposed to be the fatherly patriarch of the family. Ben is the street smart lug with a heart of gold... built like a linebacker. Johnny is the most white
  11. Yeah. I'm used to an older Reed. I never got into any of the Ultimate Marvel comics. Instead, we're probably going to get some Shia LaBeouf-looking punk. Also, Johnny Storm is traditionally white. It bugs me when they change the race of a character. That would be like casting The Falcon as a white guy in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. People would be up-in-arms about that. Hell, I'd be one of them. I just don't picture Johnny Storm as a black guy, that's all. He's a blonde white dude. That's ingrained in my psyche. The only reason I accept Sam Jackson as Nick Fury is that he's Sam Jackso
  12. Because I have the sinking feeling that the rumored casting is probably correct. He only said the synopsis in today's news was false, to be more accurate.
  13. Yeah, Josh Trank tweeted that these rumors aren't true, but still... ... f*** this movie.
  14. F*** this movie. Seriously. This movie can go f*** off and die.
  15. I only used Star Trek: The Next Generation as an example to demonstrate how much a series can grow in just a couple of seasons. By the time the third season rolled around, it was terrific. I think Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. started out fairly strong.
