Loving the Chrome trooper. (hopefully the rumors are true that it's a women...)

Loving the flamethrowers.

Loving that mask.

There are a million ways that they could mess this movie up completely. After watching this trailer I am finally convinced that they aren't going to screw it up. I can't think of any higher praise than that.

The only thing better than how this trailer looked was how good Daisy Ridley looked at Celebration.

I know the likes were after his time, but that 7 up there is strangely satisfying. Seems he averaged one for every 10 thousand posts. Sounds about right.

That sounds keen, but I don't see the tred scheme. The Wayback only goes to 2001.

I used to drink 4 or 5 cans of soda a day. I'll still have it now and then if we go out to eat, but I haven't had it regularly now in probably 2 years.

There were rumors awhile back that this movie had something to do with getting the death star plans. It could still fit in with the X-wings somehow.. hmm.

Also, could this be the first Star Wars movie without any Jedi at all? I would be completely cool with that.

Yeah, that is the biggest thing probably. Toughest thing too, giving up the caffeine. I'm convinced the switch to water has made the biggest difference though. I've tried before with juice or kool-aid or that type of stuff and couldn't ever sustain it.

Great to see everybodys stories here! Some really amazing transformations. Hope everybody that posted in '13 and '14 are still doing well. (updates, updates?)

I don't have any photos to share, but a story instead. At the start of July I went in for my yearly physical and got all that stuff done. They took the official weight and I wasn't too surprised with the result, 247. I think the highest I'd ever remembered being was 255, so it was right in that range. I knew I'd needed to lose some weight long before the physical. I was hoping to lose it prior to my vacation, but that failed spectacularly. As a result I don't think I'm looking too hot in any of those photos.

So a combination of that and seeing the real official doctors office weight was enough to get me to change my diet. Been drinking almost nothing but water for every meal and watching my portion sizes. Still eating everything I did before, but instead of 5 pieces of pizza, maybe 3 is enough. If I need to snack later, it's a salad or strawberries/blueberries. Adding just a little exercise in there too, namely jogging for about 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week.

Anyways, checked the scale today and was at 190 even. I'd like to lose another 10 or 20 lbs before I'm completely satisfied, but I don't think 57 lbs in 8 months is too bad.

Fantastic episode. Some of the best Mike stuff they've had, Breaking Bad included.

Ash is really fun to antagonize, even if you romance her. lol She's such a blatant racist in the first game, so she's an easy target.

As for soldier, I've died a number of times at that Chora's Den spot too. I think the trick is you have to use cover a lot more than other classes. You have to rely more on the weapons and the weapons just aren't that accurate or good early in the game. So cover is your pal. The sniper rifle helps to make up for the assault rifles horrendous accuracy if you can get some damage in before they get close.

Setting your squads powers to manual and using them instead of your own is also really helpful.

It's crazy to think I've been visiting this site for half of my life.

Joined in early June '99 after seeing Episodeii.com being promoted on a big TV news show somewhere along with a few other big Star Wars sites. I forget which one. I signed up because I had a sweet new theory about Boba Fett that nobody on earth had thought of yet. (Vader told him 'no disintegrations' in ESB and clearly it had huge implications.)

Fast forward to now and I got married last year and bought a house the year before. Went on my dream vacation last year with designs for more in the next couple of years. Have the best paying job I've ever had, albeit a boring office job. So life is good.

Pretty stoked for this. We'll try and pace ourselves but I know it's not going to happen. If we can make this last a week, I'll call that a big victory.

The fight felt very real and weighted. The PT and Clone Wars fights had a tendency to feel very superheroish.

Even though they spent the whole season there, I have absolutely no attachment to Lothal. lol Just seems to generic and empty to me. I'll be excited to see them get off of there and get around a bit more.

Great episode. Felt very ANH in spots. The last few have been some of their best, I think. I'm liking it more now then when the season started. Don't know if that is because the episodes are better or if I'm finally settling into exactly what this show is trying to be. Either way I'm glad I stuck it out and am excited to see where they are going next.

That being said, god I hope there are no clones in this movie. I can't take any movie with clones seriously.

I hate it when this happens. ONE blog reports a theory, and everyone runs with it like it was news. All he said was Ripley needs a "proper finish" and some of the concept art is obvious Aliens-esque. Everyone is assuming that his mens it must ignore 3 and 4, which by no means does it. The alien universe is full o clones, genetic engineering and super science, there's more than one way to get Hicks there if the CONCEPT art ends up coming true.

The quote that is causing people to think that it will disregard 3 and 4 isn't the concept art or the 'proper finish' comment. It's this quote: "as the director says he's designing the film to sit in sequence after Aliens".

Whether or not that comes to actually pass, who knows. The details are next to nothing at this point and the headlines are certainly taking some creative liberties with it.

Even if it slots in after Aliens, 3 and Resurrection could still happen in that scenario, though I don't see how.
