  1. Seasons 8 and 9 were definitely forgettable! In fact, I really can't recall a single episode. But I did really like 10, it felt more like the early ones for me.
  2. Last two episodes have been excellent! First the new Fulcrum is revealed to be and now Ezra and Maul are on the hunt for !
  3. I saw this last night, it's a really fun watch! Despite the horror in the title, don't expect to be scared or even creeped out. It's kind of like watching a bunch of Tales From The Darkside or Tales From The Crypt episodes. It's a movie that has several different storylines playing out on Christmas Eve, they all take place in the same town. Well, except for one but I won't say which. The stories only cross over in minimal ways, if you've seen Trick r Treat, it's the same as that. It's not going to win any Oscars but it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought it might be a good m
  4. I wonder how that will work. Logan looks like it takes place after most or all of the X-Men are dead and gone. Unless they throw in some time travel shenanigans to get Laura in present day, in which case they could easily have an older actress play her. Or the same one since X-23 isn't that old in the comics, anyways, like 16 or 17. So the actress could play her in another movie that came out 3 or 4 years from now. Hey, Chloe Moretz played a 12 year old asskicker in a comic movie, and her character didn't even have powers!
  5. I don't think that's really new for comics, they've been swapping out characters for decades. Green Lantern, Iron Man, Thor, Flash, Green Arrow, Captain America...there have been plenty of times the original is absent and someone takes over the role for a while. Maybe it's a little different now since Marvel is still keeping the originals while adding new ones who have the same name. Which I don't really get? I mean, okay, name recognition but how does it make sense to have two characters going by the name Spider-Man? Or Captain America? Or Thor? I guess Marvel could be doing this in the comi
  6. Oh, I thought he was still in there. :| Yeah, Marvel is lying their butts off saying it has nothing to do with the movie rights. Same for the Fantastic Four, I think this is the first time they have not had an ongoing in...ever? I know most of the characters are still around but the team has always had a title even when it wasn't the original 4. I mean, guys like Foolkiller, Slapstick and Solo have ongoings but not the FF? *grump*
  7. I think X-Men fans have been getting the short end of the stick for a while, especially since it looks like Marvel doesn't give much of a crap about them. Probably due to them not having the movie rights but I think Joe Quesada never liked them much, either. And we know what happens to things he doesn't like in comics, they get poofed away! I saw the new creative teams for the upcoming X-titles and they are all yawnworthy. And they keep pushing Inhumans which is just eh. C'mon, Marvel, if Inhumans were ever going to be a thing it would have happened a long time ago. I'll give it to DC for at
  8. I haven't read any of those but it sounds pretty confusing. I'm still trying to figure out current Marvel continuity. I mean, they reset and combined things with the main universe but what are the character like Mile's backstories now? Does he remember that he is from an alternate Earth or is he supposed to have always been there? I think both companies should just start everything over! That or just alternate Earths it to explain away things like they did back in the day.
  9. I love this song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NEv0QO25EI
  10. Maybe here? I found a bunch of good ones on that site. Says you can use the music as long as you give credit. http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/music.html
  11. A more science fictiony version of Plague Dogs! With a bunny and a cat for diversity!
  12. If you skip out on season 4, you'll miss out on rewatching the Hush episode, one of the best! I don't rewatch series very often but I always like to se the entire thing again. And I thought Fred got the worse ending... That reminds me that I never finished watching Alias.
  13. Mr. Williams is revisiting the world of Osten Ard, the world introduced in the Memory, Sorrow and thorn series! I don't know if anyone else here has read the original series but I recommend it! https://ostenard.com/2016/10/21/tad-williams-announces-the-completion-of-the-witchwood-crown/
  14. Time for some horror punk! How can you not like a band called Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space?! Fun video, too!
  15. That's what I'm saying, they show Avengers Tower during the movie, so it has to take place after the first Avengers movie. So I guess the experimental armor line is just a throwaway thing and not meant to tie into anything from the other movies. I guess the government would still be trying to build their own, anyways.
  16. Barenaked Ladies always make such catchy tunes!
  17. I think it would have worked a lot better if they had it start earlier, too. Maybe 2008, around the time Stark became Iron Man? They could have even had a scene with a tv on in the background showing Tony announcing he was Iron Man. That way, they could have established he had been training for years and came back to New York recently. That would have made the name drop in Winter Soldier make a lot more sense.
  18. Speaking of timeline, this goes quite a bit beyond Civil War, doesn't it? Just before he crashed, he turned down Rhodey as a patient. The bit about a colonel who crushed his lower spine in an experimental armor. I took that to mean that the movie started pretty much at the same time as Civil War. According to the director, it's not meant to be Rhodey. He clarified this in a Reddit AMA last month. Maybe it was meant to be one of the soldiers shown injured in the IM 2 courtroom scenes? But I think that Avengers Tower is shown a couple times in Dr. Strange, I just don't remember if it is sh
  19. Watching Stranger Things and the last episode of Black Mirror, the 80's episode, has put me in the mood for 80's tunes! Listening to them led me to FM-84, a modern 80's sounding band! I think it's a band... Anyways, give them a listen! The whole album is great! P.S. I think I should have grown up in the 80's! I love the music, the clothes and the movies and shows from that decade!
  20. CoLA

    CBS Supergirl

He can be the newest addition to Team Arrow when the shows crossover!
  21. I saw the end of this again the other night at a friend's place and was reminded of two thoughts I had when I first saw it: Why would the two people closest to Han not hug it out after his death?! I don't think Leia and Chewie even looked at one another! I feel like that would have made the scene a lot more sorrowful. It feels so hollow the way it plays out. Also, I thought Luke should have had one line in this movie. On Rey finding him, I think a "Hello there" would have been a neat little nod to Obi-Wan's first appearance in Ep 4.
  22. I think it was just Sarah Paulson who did, right? The rest were the actors playing the real people. It seemed kinda obvious who was who during the return to the house, at least to me. Lana Winters? She was a survivor from season 2. Probably during the re-enactment scenes, not so sure about the rest. She was one of the ghosts? I guess even ghost kids need company. :| Still butcherin', going by the finale! ;D We did see her briefly in this one and her congregation was, uhmm...congregating on the police at the end. Well, Lee was, but she was acquitted. I don't think
  23. Sure to be covered in the Roanoke/Coven crossover season! The witches teleported her there!
