  1. I mentioned it before, but I'd like for the next Deadpool movie to just go ahead and be a teamup with Cable in which the go ahead and jump between all these weird contradictions and either fix the timeline or to take credit for it all being messed up in the first place and let the final battle be between Origins: Wolverine's Deadpool and the real Deadpool.

Maybe that's where these Deadpool in Logan rumors come from? Maybe it's not a end-credit scene, but Ryan Reynolds was on the set just to film some scenes for the new Deadpool while they had everyone there. Two different movies, and Deadpool, in his new movie, can bring X-23 back to the past and set her up as the new Wolverine.

    Everyone happy with that?

I'm sold! Especially if we get a bonus of deadpool masquerading as one of the X-Men in the past using a holoprojecter like when they gumped him into an issue of Spider-Man!

  2. Also, I just realized that we never saw onscreen or got a clear explanation for how Xavier came back to life after 3, (aside from the post credit scene that told us he transferred his mind to a coma patient).

Same reason Jean and Scott were alive at the end of DOFP, timey wimey shenanigans!

I mean yeah, he was alive before they changed the timeline but uhmm...I'll go with it was a cloned body!

  3. I think it would be neat if they keep altering it in ways not usually seen in movies and series. Like they go back to the present and find out someone they knew is a different age than they were before.

And I really like that they are willing to let history change, even if it isn't too drastic. I wonder if they ever will let it get changed in a major way at some point. It's hard to imagine the world being the same if they manage to erase Rittenhouses' influence from it. It could be pretty interesting since they aren't allowed to go back again to the same point.

  4. Kind of! I guess, it doesn't have the superpowers obviously but yeah, the save time thing is not new. I like the characters in this series a lot more, too. The only one I like in LoT is Mick.

  5. Anyone watching this series? If you watched shows like Sliders or Quantum Leap, you might like this. A group of people have to keep traveling to different years in the past to prevent a guy from changing key points in history. One thing I like about the "villain" is even though he is a bad guy, he sees it as changing things for the overall good (and he may be right but that's still debatable).

Also! I like how even though the team manages to save history for the most part, when they come back things are not always exactly the same. Like, instead of John Wilkes Booth assassinating Lincoln, it was an unknown assailant. One of the characters even

loses their sister due to her not even existing anymore

    .

  6. I guess the latter half of Harrison Ford's career will be reprising all his memorable roles. I think it's time for Dr. Richard Kimble to clear his name after being accused of murdering his niece! The race is on to find the one-legged redheaded man who really did it!

  7. I saw this last night, it's a really fun watch! Despite the horror in the title, don't expect to be scared or even creeped out. It's kind of like watching a bunch of Tales From The Darkside or Tales From The Crypt episodes. It's a movie that has several different storylines playing out on Christmas Eve, they all take place in the same town. Well, except for one but I won't say which. The stories only cross over in minimal ways, if you've seen Trick r Treat, it's the same as that. It's not going to win any Oscars but it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought it might be a good movie for anyone looking for something a bit different for the holidays.

  8. X23 could have been another exception. I was actually a bit disappointed that she's so young in the Logan movie. I was hoping she'd take over for Jackman immediately.

I wonder how that will work. Logan looks like it takes place after most or all of the X-Men are dead and gone. Unless they throw in some time travel shenanigans to get Laura in present day, in which case they could easily have an older actress play her. Or the same one since X-23 isn't that old in the comics, anyways, like 16 or 17. So the actress could play her in another movie that came out 3 or 4 years from now. Hey, Chloe Moretz played a 12 year old asskicker in a comic movie, and her character didn't even have powers!

  9. I don't think that's really new for comics, they've been swapping out characters for decades. Green Lantern, Iron Man, Thor, Flash, Green Arrow, Captain America...there have been plenty of times the original is absent and someone takes over the role for a while.

Maybe it's a little different now since Marvel is still keeping the originals while adding new ones who have the same name. Which I don't really get? I mean, okay, name recognition but how does it make sense to have two characters going by the name Spider-Man? Or Captain America? Or Thor? I guess Marvel could be doing this in the comics so that they could set things up for future movies when the actors eventually move on.

  10. Oh, I thought he was still in there. :|

Yeah, Marvel is lying their butts off saying it has nothing to do with the movie rights. Same for the Fantastic Four, I think this is the first time they have not had an ongoing in...ever? I know most of the characters are still around but the team has always had a title even when it wasn't the original 4.

I mean, guys like Foolkiller, Slapstick and Solo have ongoings but not the FF? *grump*

  11. I think X-Men fans have been getting the short end of the stick for a while, especially since it looks like Marvel doesn't give much of a crap about them. Probably due to them not having the movie rights but I think Joe Quesada never liked them much, either. And we know what happens to things he doesn't like in comics, they get poofed away!

I saw the new creative teams for the upcoming X-titles and they are all yawnworthy. And they keep pushing Inhumans which is just eh. C'mon, Marvel, if Inhumans were ever going to be a thing it would have happened a long time ago.

I'll give it to DC for at least going back to what fans prefered, even if they did it in their usual confusing way.

Like Q said, this is still supposed to be the New 52 universe but the characters are remembering things from the PC one? Oh, and except Superman and Lois are both from the PC one, too, because New 52 Superman is dead...and there are two Lois Lanes and one is Superwoman now...
