I mean, for a fast food burger, In-N-Out is good. Definitely a step up from McDonald's or Burger King. We almost always get In-N-Out for lunch when we visit family in California because its nearby and it is the only junk food my husband will eat. We have a local chain called Blazing Onion that is probably more equivalent to Red Robin but better. Since they are pretty easy to get to-go, I usually just call in my order and grab it. Five Guys is so greasy. Gross. Chick-fil-A waffle fries are good, and I think once I got a chicken salad sandwich so I am a fan. But I eat there pretty rar

In my part of Texas, at least, people go crazy for Whataburger. I also like it and it’s a definite step up from McDonald’s, but It’s also overhyped here.

To me, the Chick-fil-A hype is based largely on the Great customer service when eating in there. I like the food, but I would choose other options if I am at a food court, the airport, or doing drive thru.

Alright so my new thing these past nine or so months: After being stuck at home and missing live music, I wanted to pursue just doing something myself. I can play guitar but I'm terrible at it, and any attempt I've had in the past to work with buddies to play something together never went anywhere. So instead, I decided to start learning editing and mixing on DJ software. I'd seen a lot of people mix live on DJ boards in festival campgrounds at impromptu parties and always thought it was cool so I wanted to try i out. When In-n-Out first opened up in the Phoenix area, I think almost 20 years ago, there were only a handful of locations, and they were always busy, with cars wrapped around the block. I got an in-n-out burger for the first time today. It was a perfectly fine burger, but was absolutely nothing special. Is this just California’s version of New Yorkers going crazy about their style pizza?
