What amazes me most is that Trump literally did EVERYTHING you could do to lose an election. To the point it at times seemed he was throwing the election. I am sure there was a generation gap, when it came to younger military voters not voting for Trump, but (assuming this is not a fluke you are talking about) I have a feeling a lot of military people can't stand Trump. The thing is when you are in the military, you are taught leadership skills literally from the beginning. Even younger military personnel know the basics of what to do, and not to do, and can recognize a poor leader when they see one.
