  1. This. He is the president. He is held to a higher standard than some random. Retarded shit comes out of my mouth on a regular, but not in a professional setting (or to a much lesser degree). I regularly ask myself at work, "would an idiot say that thing. If the answer is 'yes', I do not say that thing".

  2. You are spot on there! Growing up where it was costly to buy a VHS in the early days, and it would a very long time before they were even released after their time at the cinema, when it became much more affordable and quicker in the 90's, I went nuts! Ha ha! I still like having a physical copy of things, but I definitely have been more picky in what I choose to buy.

  3. As to the other point, I still buy items, but only key things these days as I have so, so many DVD's and Blu-rays. Film-wise, yep, I got TROS to complete the sequel set (to accompany the 6 film complete saga box set! ), and then the Marvel ones just because I am a bit of a sad collector and need it on the shelf. Other than that, just the smart looking Blu-ray sets they have been releasing for the classic Dr Who series. 7th one due out next Monday, which is Tom Baker's 3rd series in the role, so that will be nice to binge watch when it arrives. Excellent extra's on those.

  4. We blitzed through Tiger King the other week (enjoyed the after show episode as well!!), and as we finally got Disney + here in the UK at the end of March, I have been working my way through Clone Wars from the start so I can watch those final episodes fully refreshed! Really enjoying it! The Trip to Greece was superb - love those series. The 2 of them are so funny together! Other than that, Better Call Saul series 5 finished last week (love that show and looking forward to seeing how it will all end and tie up with BB in Series 6). We had a good show here on BBC called Race Around

  5. I don't feel very well today. I slept on the couch off and on most of the day. I'm so glad I showered last night. I'm good with another one of these whenever. I'd love it if Spam and Mindy can be there. I'm going to have to be better prepared next time so LMK when we're doing it

  6. I've largely stopped collecting physical media except Criterion sets, Black Friday Blu-rays, and whatever I'm given as gifts, but I still have a sizable unwatched backlog dating back over a decade, thanks in part to my wife's previous job at a company that dealt in multimedia products. While she and I have been diving into assorted streaming shows, on my own time I've resolved to plow through all those sets this year or else. My physical binge-watching over the past two months: Static Shock - final season Homicide: Life on the Street - final season Batman: The Brave and the Bold - s.1 Batt

  7. The other thing is, Obama didnt double down and argue that there are 57 states, or lie and say that he never said it. He messed up and he let it go. Trump will fight to the death to support anything he said. And he lies constantly. It seems like the media thing is personal because he makes it personal, but they have a moral responsibility to report facts despite the fact that Trump and MAGA people dont believe facts exist.

  8. I've reached the point where I trust nothing. I think both sides pump out fake news. People believe anything they read. Is Trump an idiot? yes. Does the left media over-play they're hand at attacking him instead of reporting actual news? Yes. Is it any wonder people go to freedomeagle dot org or whatever to find a voice that agrees with them? Of course not, we're all alienated. The whole situation-- from what Trump said, or why he said it, to the media response, to what people will or will not do as a result-- I trust none of it. I believe none of it. I want the Federal government to be deci
