You've seen those old cop movies. "You don't play by the rules, Callahan!" And we love it. But do we ever really bother to read the rules? Take the rules I just read for creating this blog.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Blog system to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

Hmmm, no problems there. Let me just scan it one more time.

knowingly false, check.

defamatory, inaccurate, check, check

abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, check check, that's all doable

obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Yeah, yeah, other than violating Nanci's privacy, that's all good.

sexually oriented, wha-?

We can't have sexually oriented subject matter with this blog? Oh hell no! You'll have to ban me first!

Rules? We don't need no stinking rules!

knowingly inaccurate means no fictional stories, and no vulgarity means no swearing (nor many jokes) either.

but they're not there to be followed, just used if an admin doesn't like a post.
