All 50 states hit with below-freezing temperatures on Tues, even though it is not even December:

Was apparently, the coldest November day since 1976:

More than 350 record lows, and record low high temperatures for 42 states:

Well liberals, let's hear it. I'm all ears!!

I think what is confused is climate versus weather. Climate is long term and weather is short term. I think one of the challanges for many people to accept climate change is the difficulty of people to truly perceive the idea of climate. People have an idea of hot and cold temperatures, but it is almost impossible for humans to wrap their minds around tenths of a degree average increase year to year. Having record low temperatures in an area does not disprove climate change no more than record highs proves it. We may have record lows here in the US do to a specific weather phenomenon (such as a polar vortex), but that does not negate the fact that the overall worldwide average is increasing.

They have not released the data for worldwide temperatures for October or this month, NOAA has released the data for every month up until this September.

Oh yeah, that old familiar line of reasoning. The last 5 years we saw X, so that necessitates the next 5 years having X.

Fun quiz for everyone: what logical fallacy is Ender committing? This is multiple choice:

A) No true scotsman

B) Correlation implies causation

C) Hot-hand

D) False dilemma

E) Begging the question

I didn't claim any action should be taken.

Oooooh, a fight about climate change/global warming. Never seen one of those in here before! Let's all waste each other's time exchanging talking points, because everyone here is so reasonable and willing to change their mind when faced with new data! Hooray for the Lyceum crowd being not-asshats!
