Good God a Bear
It's that time of year. I'm looking for a good creepy/scary book to read for the Halloween season. Any suggestions?

Copper
You can't go wrong with some Stephen King.Or if you want something weird try Something From the Nightside by Simon R. Green
RelentlessMalice
I would say read Dr.Sleep by Stephen King. It is new, fresh and is frankly better than the shining. Dust off an old copy of Scary Stories to tell in the dark by Alvin Swartz
Ms. Spam
All Stephen King is ghost written formula, so I haven't read the newest. It's also why I stopped reading Anne Rice. Same story different set dressing. I might give that book a try though. Better than the Shining is a high rating. In October I always reread Ray Bradbury. RelentlessMalice
I know its a bold statement but I re-read the Shining before reading Dr.Sleep and there were parts in Dr.Sleep that were downright scary, especially what the villans in the book do to a young boy. If they ever make Dr.Sleep into a movie it will be scary as hell.
